Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda...

What I should be reading...

My study materials for my test to become a Certified Meeting Professional. Yes, that textbook is a monster!

What I am reading...

I love to read! For fun. I asked for these books for Christmas after reading their summaries on Amazon. I like novels, lately dystopian novels like The Hunger Games and Divergent. But I also like really interesting books about life and how people work, which is why I asked for The Power of Habit.
  • Wild by Cheryl Strayed
  • Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
  • The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker
  • The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg

I will give you reviews of each when I'm finished!

What I should be drinking...

Some healthy veggie smoothie.

What I am drinking...

A vanilla milkshake from Chik-fil-a.

What I should be eating...

Healthy breakfast of oatmeal and fruit.

What I am eating...

Cinnamon Rolls with icing... yum!

What I should be watching...

The news! Sorry people, that is just too darn depressing for me. I get the important scoop from the office talk.

What I am watching...

What Not to Wear! Starring the awesome Stacey and Clinton. Important life lessons are learned here, people. Like you shouldn't be wearing those pleated pants!

The moral of the story here? There really is none. I just want to tell the others like me out there, that it's OK to curl up and watch some trashy TV instead of doing something productive. As long as you work hard and treat your body/mind right most of the time, feel free to cut yourself some slack when you just need some queso dip!

I think it's all about balance. Don't work/study so hard that you aren't happy. But don't party so hard that you become lazy and unproductive. Find a balance that works for you so you can accomplish things, and then celebrate them with a beverage! Or two.

Happy Thursday lovelies! Almost the weekend ~ Hang in there!
