The Big Move... To a Small Apartment

This image accurately sums up our weekend. The ENTIRE weekend. I didn't even have time to take a clear picture.

As you can gather we moved ALL weekend. It totally sucked. We sold our house, and since we don't currently have a new one to go to, moved our 1660 square foot home, 2 cats, and 1 dog into a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. The entire 2nd bedroom and dining room is covered in boxes and furniture items that will remain there until we can move out.

Side note: Is it weird that I'm somewhat looking forward to going home tonight so I can strategically put everything away to maximize our space? I know.. organization freak here. Excited for the challenge!

Junior seemed ready to go. Poor thing didn't know he was going somewhere where there was no escape from the dog!

Piper and I soaking up a couple minutes of relaxation before Day 2 of moving.

This is what I currently look like at work.

So today we are waiting to hear if yet another house could be ours! My fingers are crossed! Here's a couple pics from the house that I really hope is ours. I want to have an end in sight! And this house is awesome! (Minus the Easter egg paint colors)

And since this post was pretty depressing, here's some good news! I got a promotion and it officially goes into effect today! Check out my new designation and title! :)

Can't wait to be off work Thursday and Friday to actually enjoy the weekend and not have to move a thing!! I'll keep you all updated on the house! *Fingers Crossed!*
