Haters Gonna Hate (On My Christmas Tree)

I'm sure you've noticed that I've been M.I.A. for a week or so. That happens about 3x a year in KALIWOOD when I have an event! It's 5 days of go-go-go and there's no time for social media, except for maybe an insta of the beach :)

I'll post later this week some event pics.. it was a success! But for today, it's Christmas time! I got home on Friday and on Sunday I decided I was going to have a tree this year. Since I got out into the real world I haven't messed with a tree because I always had a big event in December and so I wasn't never home, nor did I have time to decorate one. Well, now that my event is early December, I told Tim I was getting an inexpensive tree so we would have something festive!!

Now, before you judge the tree, just know that the only options they had were these very tall, skinny white trees, or fat/plump ones for 3 times the price. I refused to break the bank this year so I went conservative!

I was actually really proud of my little tree until Tim's coworkers made fun of it for being anorexic. I get it, it's skinny and looks kind of funny. But I think it's cute! So I'm rocking it this year no matter what anyone says!

I still need to get some version of a skirt for it to cover the base.

Feel free to judge away, you fat tree owners! (The tree, not you). Regardless of how plump your tree is, HAPPY HOLIDAYS from KALIWOOD!!

  3. I think your tree is cute! I have a fat hand me down...but that skinny one would probably fit in my teeny apartment better!

  5. I didn't realize they made trees that thin. I think its a great little tree. Its a great option for people in apartments or dont have a lot of room. Plus it would be easy to set up and tear down. As long as you enjoy it it really doesn't matter what others think. Hope you have a great week!
