24 Pounds of Happiness

When asked me to write my guest post on happiness, I thought, well this is easy! So I started compiling a list of all of the things that make me happy. Like that new, just-out-of-the-box, shoe smell, a cold beer on a warm summer afternoon, some cheesy queso dip with crispy chips... but then I thought, wait. Let's focus on ONE thing that brings me ridiculous amounts of happiness each and every day.

This thing....

Is chocolate brown and caramel....

Enjoys a nice snooze on a long car ride...

Is always dressed for the occasion....

Has friends of all shapes and sizes....

Gets pooped out after a long run....

Is well educated....

Always looks awkward in family photos...

Is bad to the bone...

Loves some quality snuggle time...

Has multiple chins....

Is a huge food mooch...

Loves selfies...

And is just an all around cutie-pie.

This is Piper Jane! Our lovable, goofy, 2 year old mutt we rescued from the humane society. She is our spoiled baby girl and nothing makes me happier than seeing her wagging tail when I get home everyday!

What makes you happy everyday?

  1. She is precious!! Seeing my dog, Bob, come running with his tail wagging every day when I get home is what makes me happy too! :) I'd say the kids coming running saying, "Mom!" when I get home makes me happy too, and it does, but then it's usually quickly followed by them arguing with each other about something that happened earlier in the day that they're trying to tell me about, ha!
