I Have a Date with Justin Timberlake Tomorrow

Hello there. I'm still here! Despite the crickets the last few days. I was at home with the family this weekend. Did you know the crickets up there are a LOT louder at night than they are in Lexington? They were seriously so obnoxious I couldn't sleep. And sometimes they would get out of sync and it was awful. So I decided to be content with the screeching as long as they were in harmony.

And if the previous paragraph doesn't clearly show that I have zero motivation for blog posts lately, then I don't know what does. I felt like I was on a roll for a while these past few weeks. But now I'm super busy with work and personal travel, that I don't have as much time to be creative. I guess life is allowed to get in the way. I can't write about my life if I'm not out living it, I suppose.

Anywho...

When I was younger my mom and I would always play heart and soul on the piano. She's musically inclined. I am not. But it's the one thing I learned. While I was home we dusted off the keyboard to see if we still had it... and voila.

Musical genius, my friends.

Moving on.. I have a date with Justin Timberlake tomorrow night. I guess some would consider that more interesting than my musical ensemble. And don't worry, Mrs. Biel is cool with it.

I'm doing a site visit to Kansas City and the lovely people there invited some Meeting Planners to the Justin Timberlake concert! So dinner at a winery, then grooving with JT it is! And the best part is my bestie is flying in from Chicago to spend the weekend with me! Woot!

I really love my job sometimes most of the the time. :)

So if this innovative post didn't tickle your fancy (which I don't see how it couldn't!) then check out my Top Posts section to see some actually well thought-out ideas and writing.

And with that I'll just hit publish before this gets any worse!
