JT in KC

As I mentioned last week, I went to Kansas City to do a site visit for work. The Convention and Visitors Association of KC invited us to a concert and some other fun events during our stay.

My bestie Mary flew in from Chicago to join me! I love when I can mix a business trip with some fun!

We started the night at an urban winery where they had Jack Stack catered. Before we ate, the head chef did a demonstration of how they cook and cut their meat! Was so sad to see all that goodness go to waste! But it was delicious!

Then we headed over to the Sprint Center for the concert. We hung out in the VIP lounge/bar before we went to our seats!

I was definitely exicted for the concert. But I didn't realize HOW excited I was until we got to our seats, and they were amazing! They were to the side and up a bit, which was actually perfect because we had a totally clear view of the entire show.

JT came out and I swear, Mary and I turned into two 14 year-olds raised on N'SYNC and we went nuts. It was a total blast from then on.

I will saw JT is extremely talented. Not only could he dance, but his voice was great. Sounded just like he does on the radio. How many artists nowadays really sounds great live?

We had a moment.

I loved when he slowed it down and told everyone to turn on their phone lights...

This was him and his band playing my current favorite, "Drink You Away". So good.

Then the stage lifted up and moved OVER the crowd to the back of the stadium for a few songs.

It was seriously a blast!

The next morning we had a fabulous breakfast on top of the KC Sporting offices. That's KC's soccer team. Graham Zusi plays for them (aka my World Cup crush). It was an awesome venue, and had great views. I may use it for my event in 2016!

Mary and I spent the rest of the weekend catching up, eating great food, shopping, and just enjoying each other's company. So glad I got to see her and JT in one fell swoop!

If you have a chance to go see JT on this tour, I highly suggest it! Until the next site visit...
