Lennox is growing! As puppies do, I suppose. She's almost 4 months I think. (Honestly I have a hard time keeping track. How do mothers always know that their child is "76 days and 4 hours" old. I'm like hmm... I think a few months or so at least?!

She's almost Piper's size! But still super floppy like puppies are. Which I think is the best thing about them. She also still have the soft, fuzzy fur and smells like a pup. She's SUCH a quick learner. She had sit, shake, and lay down all covered in less than 5 minutes each. We need to set aside more time to dedicate to training, because she's a great student.

She's food CRAZY. Our other dogs are hauses, but she takes the cake. Literally. I'm begging Tim not to give her human food because it will just make it worse. But somehow she came into our home knowing that if Dad has food, that's where she needs to be.

I've always been against the idea of working out before work because of the sheer amount of time it takes to shower and dry my hair. But my coworker has this routine where she works out, then comes to work, rinses off (we have a shower), but doesn't wash her hair. Then uses a blow dryer and dry shampoo to get the sweat out and style her hair.

So Wednesday and today, I've gotten up at 6:30, snuck out of the room (so the dogs don't go crazy), and headed to the gym. I work out from 7-7:50 and then get to work around 8:10. Then I rinse off, dry shampoo/blow dry my hair, toss it in a bun, change to work clothes, and BAM I'm done! I usually get up around 7 or so without working out so I'm really not getting up that much earlier. And honestly.. it's been so easy.

I don't want to jinx it by saying that but I am pretty pumped. I'm planning to do this routine every Monday, Wednesday, Friday this winter. It's great to not have to worry about working out after work when it's pitch black outside and all I want to do is go home and curl up on the couch.  So hopefully this routine works for me. Especially since I've just entered the Commit To Fit Challenge! (You should too.)

Our Annual Meeting is rapidly approaching! Things have been really busy which is why there's been a lack of posting around these parts. I fly out on December 1. Which means we go to West Virginia for Thanksgiving Nov 26-30 and the next morning I hop on a plane to Palm Springs. Talk about stressful. Luckily this is the last year our event with butt up to Thanksgiving. We've decided to push it back when the schedule lays out that way.. YAY!

Tim and I went to a Bengals game a couple weekends ago. He found $100 bill laying on the ground as we were walking to our tailgate spot. I consider myself a pretty lucky person. But I don't hold a candle to that kid.

Kylie and I randomly got the urge one night to pull out the very minimal Christmas decorations I store and put them up. Since I have an anorexic 5 foot tree and about 4 stockings, it took us no time at all. But.. I was pumped to put up my Rottie ornament for the first time! It was a gift from my mom.. so cute!

Tim is doing No-Shave-November again this year. Much to my dismay. If you remember last year, Tim doesn't grow facial hair. Like at all. All he can get is a light mustache that doesn't connect in the middle. He also buys the most ridiculous clothes because he thinks they are funny. So this month is just a whole lot of embarrassment for me when we are out in public. He just sent me this picture of his work ensemble...

(Don't let the image fool you. That stache doesn't meet in the middle.)

TGIF! Have a great weekend!

  1. I've always wanted to work in a place with showers! You are so set for this challenge!

  2. Your pups are way too cute! Sounds like you have a great morning routine going :D
