Getting Into Even Better Shape Is Possible

Your body might be in good shape - trim, toned and fit, but is it possible to get into even better shape? Of course, it is, there are always changed you can make to boost your levels of health and fitness even more. We only get one body, so taking care of it is essential.

The better shape you’re in, the less prone to problems you will be as you age. From diabetes to joint problems like arthritis, being in good shape can help to keep your body healthy for longer.

The question is, how can you get into better shape than ever before? It’s not just about changing one aspect of your life, like what you’re eating, it’s about making a variety of changes.

Start your day right
So your fitness regime says you need to be up by six each morning, but more often than not you don’t get up until six thirty. This means that every day you’re sacrificing half an hour of precious workout time. Move your alarm clock across the room, so that when it goes off, you have no choice but to get up. Go to bed at a reasonable time, else no matter when you get up, you’ll be exhausted. Lastly, be realistic about your morning workout schedule. Yes, you want to do as much as you can, but an overly ambitious plan can put you off of working out as there’s too much to do.

Take advantage of supplements
Supplements are little tables packed with goodness. There are supplements for everything, from boosting your metabolism to increasing your nutrient intake. There are things like cenegenics that help to keep you healthy as you age. There’s bee pollen that boosts energy. There’s Biotin for healthy skin. Basically, there’s something for almost everything. If you want to get into the best shape of your life, take advantage of supplements.

Prepare meals in advance
The odd takeaway or ready meal might not kill you, but it will damage your body. The fat content in just one takeaway or ready meal can be extremely high. That’s why, instead of opting for fast food on those nights you can’t be bothered to cook, it’s best to prepare meals in advance. Set aside one afternoon a week to use to cook meals for the week. These can then be frozen, so that no matter what, you’ve got lots of healthy, nutritious meals to eat.

Cut workout times
This might seem like an odd one, but it works a treat. Instead of increasing your workout times, cut them. That’s right, reduce how long you’re working out for. Why? Because when you cut your workout times, this means you’re able to exercise at a more intense pace. Instead of jogging for an hour, run for half an hour. This increase in pace will speed up how quickly your body is burning fat and getting in shape. For a fast paced workout, give Crossfit a try.
