Holiday Of A Lifetime? Then Head To America And Check Out These Top Destinations

This is a contributed post, written by Laura Scott.

We can all have bucket lists with destinations on we want to visit. Mostly these will tend to be far away places that will either mean you need to take out many holidays to explore them, or they cost a fair bit to get there. These are what we would call holidays of a lifetime. Some people are fortunate to travel to these destinations regularly. While there may be a few places that would be major holidays for me. I’m here to tell you that if you are considering such a holiday, then America should be on your list.

With so many amazing destinations to choose from, it can be quite difficult to pick. However, what is great about heading to the US is that it’s easy to get into with no complicated visas. You just need to visit Official ESTA to apply for a 90 day tourist visa, and that’s it. It’s recommended you don’t leave this type of thing to the last minute, though, to avoid issues at border control. So without further ado, here are some of the top destinations I think should be on your hit list.

Las Vegas
The star studded and the glamourous destination is in the state of Nevada. Surrounded by desert and is also famous for the Grand Canyon. Heading here is not for the faint hearted so don’t expect a chance to relax too much. With all the sights and casinos to experience, and not to mention the famous residencies, there is so much to fill your time. The focal point is the strip, which spans four miles long. The most famous hotel resort would be the Bellagio, that sits behind the iconic dancing fountains.

New York
If you are into your shopping, then New York City should be high on your priority list of destinations to visit. There are many shopping opportunities in the heart of the city. There are also some fabulous sights to witness such as the Empire State Building, the Statue Of Liberty, and Times Square.

Los Angeles
In the southern part of the sunny Californian state lies the city of Los Angeles. It is famed as the film and TV capital and has the iconic Hollywood sign looking over. Paramount, Universal and Warner Brothers each have studios here and off behind the scenes tours. Not only that you have the famous staples centre, the iconic walk of fame and Rodeo Drive to explore. So much to do.

Florida and Orlando
Finally, let’s not forget Florida and Orlando. Home to some of the most well known and loved theme parks in the world. Not only do you have the famous Disney World resort but there is also Universal Studios, Seaworld and Ripley’s Believe it or not. To name a few. Not to mention the famous water parks such as Wet and Wild. Florida and Orlando have so much to offer that you will struggle to see everything on just the one visit.

I hope this has inspired you to consider America as the next big holiday for you.
