Making Your European Travel Dream A Reality

Do you dream of one day traveling Europe? You’re not alone. Europe is huge, with so many cool places and different cultures to visit. You have the coffee shops of Amsterdam, the pastel colored buildings of Copenhagen, and even the nightlife of Budapest. You have so much choice, so much fun to be had, that you’d probably be judged if you didn’t have some kind of European travel dream. Here’s how to make your dreams a reality:

Make Your Priorities
Start by making this travel dream your priority. Lots of people already have priorities, but these usually include going out on the weekend, partying, buying clothes and makeup...the list goes on. When you decide to make this dream your reality, you can start living your life in a way that’s going to allow you to achieve your dream. Don’t wait for ‘one day.’

Know There Will Never Be A ‘Right’ Time
There will likely never feel like a ‘right time’ to do something like this. That is unless you get fired from/walk out of your job, and have a load of money in the bank. Then sure, now is the time to grab your dream with both hands! However, sometimes you just need to take a leap of faith. If you don’t, the time may never feel right and you may never do it.

Take Meaningful Steps Towards Your Goal
Take some meaningful steps towards your goals as soon as possible. This will make everything feel more real, and you can seriously say that you’re going to travel Europe! For instance, make financial goals and start saving right away. Sell stuff to add money to your travel fund. Start looking at places you want to go and routes you’d like to take, then create an itinerary. All of these are much more meaningful steps than just talking about it and occasionally reading about it.

Make Sure You Have The Documents You Need
Traveling to Europe means you’re going to need a few different documents for a successful trip. You’ll need a passport, usually one that has been issued in the last 10 years with at least 3 months left after the date you intend to travel. You’ll also need to visit etias.com and follow the instructions there. If you plan on driving in Europe, then make sure you have all of the suitable documents to be able to rent a car and drive legally too!

Take Advantage Of Reward Programs
There are certain reward programs that can protect you and help make your money go further, such as flyer miles and credit card deals. Take advantage!

Get A Little Help
If you need a little help, don’t worry. Do you know somebody who has traveled Europe? Don’t be afraid to drop them a message and ask for advice. They should be happy to help you. If you don’t like the idea of planning your own trip, visiting a travel agent is a good idea too.

Have an amazing trip!

Things People Believe About Feminists (And Why They're Wrong)

When there is a movement, there is always a counter-movement. It happens in microcosm, a response to the mildest of things. If the general agreement in the populace is that a particular song is the best by a particular artist, a secondary group will appear purely for the purpose of disagreeing, of applying contrarian practices.

Since its birth at the turn of the last century, feminism has had plenty of counter movements. It began with essential basics of human rights, such as the right to vote - and people argued against that. Then it moved onto the lives of women, right through second and third wave feminism.

Given that feminism has been around so long, it’s to be expected that there are opponents to it. It just so happens that in the last decade, those opponents have become more and more vocal - arguing back against a world where Beyonce stands in front of a “feminism” banner and women begin to see work towards a more equal society. Here’s the thing that happens; here are the counter…
